When should I start building a team?

This is one of the answers a visionary must answer, else, he or she will question the validity of the vision or task at every season of transition!

As a Team Leader of a successful Vision and its expression (using the Obedience-Factor), I will strongly counsel you to give attention to Team Building before you begin your institutional work and that you have mastered building succesful teams as at the time you are starting your visionary expression!

Teams are the reasons visions thrive or die!
You can have a great dream for your team members but have a team member(s) that's got great dreams for himself alone!

To be caught up in a wrong Team is worse than being alone! The pain is you always build the wrong team with your hands and life!

If it is a vision, you can’t do it alone.
Your vision cannot stand if there is no system and structure powered by a Team.

Also, the idea that you should wait after you have grown to build a Team is a misguided one!
It is either you build a self-employment platform for yourself or you get wrong people on your team as transition demands breaking the journey into frustrating bits!

It is easier to build a Team while you are starting and defining Team Success as you're growing than when you even feel you have grown - and now need a team!

Actually, it is easier to grow with a Team than to start one(grow a team) when you feel you need a team!

Just for the basics it takes three to five Years to build a standard Team in/for any vision. I know this, because I am a system and structure specialist; A Team Leader at The Covenant of Life, Global.
